Senior Customer Advocate – Canada Remote

Join Boldr as a Senior Customer Advocate supporting a global travel and adventure booking platform. Help customers and local hosts resolve questions, convert inquiries into bookings, and receive thoughtful, high-quality service.

Description

  • Act as the primary contact for prospective and existing customers through phone, live chat, social media, and email
  • Respond to adventure-related questions and guide customers toward smooth, hassle-free bookings
  • Turn customer inquiries into bookings while addressing pre-departure concerns
  • Manage pre-booking and post-booking questions with empathy, accuracy, and professionalism
  • Coordinate with local hosts worldwide on existing bookings to maintain a clear, friendly, and positive experience
  • Respond to customers within 24 hours and manage inquiries according to established SLAs
  • Identify and resolve booking obstacles and platform-related issues
  • Write clear, accurate, and considerate responses to customer and host inquiries
  • Manage multiple tasks and issues concurrently while maintaining control and focus
  • Record, organize, prioritize, and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Provide customer insights that help the team improve the user experience
  • Keep product and service knowledge current
  • Deliver consistently excellent service, strengthen customer satisfaction, and support strong feedback results

Requirements

  • Bring 2–3+ years of customer service or support experience in hospitality, travel, adventure tourism, or another service-focused setting across email, phone, chat, or live support
  • Have experience with travel, hospitality, adventure tourism, outdoor retail, or lifestyle brands, preferably involving small-group travel
  • Understand the needs, logistics, and guest expectations associated with supporting or coordinating small-group travel
  • Have worked in a sales-oriented or conversion-focused support role, ideally in a fast-paced or high-volume environment
  • Demonstrate success against sales KPIs, conversion measures, or booking targets
  • Communicate exceptionally well in writing and conversation, adapting tone and style for different customers
  • Manage competing demands effectively while maintaining close attention to detail
  • Have basic proficiency with cloud-based applications such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to deliver solutions within established processes
  • Stay composed and positive when priorities shift or unexpected tasks arise
  • Have remote-work experience and familiarity with chat platforms, calling systems, or CRMs; HubSpot or Intercom experience is a plus
  • Show genuine enthusiasm for travel and the outdoors
  • Build customer trust and rapport through clear, confident communication
  • Be highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable handling multiple priorities at once
  • Approach customer interactions with empathy and a service-first mindset
  • Work independently with initiative in a fast-moving environment
