Customer Success Specialist — UK Remote

Support and onboard customers across the UK and Ireland using urban forestry and asset management software. Manage customer support, training, account health, renewals, and related coordination in a remote role.

Description

  • Provide UK phone and email support during business hours, resolving Tier 1 Zendesk tickets within agreed service levels
  • Review the global support queue each morning, handling Tier 1 and straightforward Tier 2 issues and escalating others with clear documentation
  • Resolve routine software configuration and how-to questions through the platform’s administration tools
  • Use AI-assisted support tools to draft customer responses, reviewing them carefully before sending
  • Lead UK customers from contract signature to confident day-to-day use through kickoff, setup reviews, and go-live assistance
  • Run onboarding, training, and refresher sessions for customers
  • Help UK field teams adopt and use the mobile application
  • Partner with Professional Services on data imports and complex configurations while maintaining clear customer communication
  • Conduct recurring check-ins with UK accounts, identify emerging issues, and communicate relevant product updates
  • Monitor UK account health and renewal schedules, identify risks, and coordinate renewals with the customer success team and UK reseller partner
  • Record customer meetings and account information in HubSpot
  • Coordinate invoicing and follow up on overdue payments for UK accounts
  • Act as the main support contact for UK and Ireland customers while contributing to the wider global support queue

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in a customer-facing software position such as support, customer success, onboarding, training, or account management
  • Comfortable communicating by phone and video, including with senior council representatives
  • Able to explain software clearly in plain English and stay composed in high-pressure situations
  • Fast to learn new software and comfortable configuring SaaS applications through administrative settings
  • Proficient with spreadsheets
  • Experience using ticketing or CRM software; Zendesk and HubSpot experience is preferred
  • Based in the UK
  • Available during UK business hours, with occasional overlap with the North American team
  • Set up to work as an independent contractor through a sole trader or limited company
  • Experience in arboriculture, urban forestry, local government, environmental services, or asset management is desirable
  • Familiarity with GIS or spatial data, including shapefiles, QGIS or ArcGIS, and the British National Grid, is desirable
  • Exposure to SQL, database tools, or data imports is advantageous but not required
