Content Editor and Moderator - Philippines Remote
Review and moderate job listings, verify users, remove scams, and improve published content for a casting marketplace. Support employers with job-posting and casting-platform tools.
Description
- Review user-generated postings and verification details to confirm the legitimacy of users and job listings
- Request additional information or verification when needed, and communicate with job posters to collect the required details
- Detect and remove scams, potentially dangerous content, and inappropriate posts, escalating cases to senior staff when appropriate
- Assess legitimacy using background-check results, identification documents, independent research, investigations, and other verification materials
- Monitor system alerts related to client and job-poster activity and determine the appropriate response
- Investigate scam complaints and inappropriate-behavior reports, including whether clients should be removed from the platform
- Copy-edit and optimize job posts to support business objectives
- Manage ticket queues by prioritizing incoming job posts according to urgency and importance
- Guide employers through the casting process using detailed marketplace knowledge
- Collect missing information and enter job details supplied by employers and third parties for publication
- Teach and assist clients using job-posting and application-management tools
- Troubleshoot casting-tool problems and train clients on the relevant platform features
- Work with customer service, account management, and business development teams
- Conduct project research and triage escalated customer-service tickets
- Review job database reports to identify listings needing attention, recategorization, or early expiration
- Support teammates with training, troubleshooting, and escalated cases
- Complete other assigned responsibilities and tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience creating or editing job listings is required
- One to two years of customer service experience in a BPO environment
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of specialized content and users
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Capable of evaluating information and making independent decisions
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Strong copy-editing, fact-checking, proofreading, and research abilities
- Competent in data entry, account management, and client support
- Comfortable learning, using, and explaining online casting and hiring technology
- Strong analytical ability, including assembling and interpreting data to evaluate content validity
- Knowledge of film, television, theater, commercial production, performing arts, marketing, or casting is helpful, with willingness to learn also valued
- Availability for a 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM shift
- Must be able to work remotely from the Philippines
