Commercial Customer Service Representative

Support commercial customers and clients at Concord Servicing, a loan-servicing company. Manage payments, account documentation, insurance tracking, portal assistance, and compliance reporting.

Description

  • Serve customers, clients, and colleagues while meeting KPI-based production targets.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls and ticket responses using company knowledge resources and peer support.
  • Create customized reports, documentation, reconciliations, and process confirmations.
  • Deliver customer and client support through phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Strengthen customer and client relationships while identifying ways to improve satisfaction and retention.
  • Support teammates and contribute to departmental objectives.
  • Process customer payments by phone accurately and according to company policies.
  • Assist with payment plans, payment issues, refunds, and balance transfers.
  • Work with accounting and booking teams to resolve account discrepancies.
  • Provide account statements, invoices, PIF letters, amortization schedules, payment histories, and other requested records.
  • Process account modifications, update customer information, and maintain accurate system records.
  • Track casework, resolve applicable cases within 1–2 business days, and document calls and next steps.
  • Coordinate with insurance partners to verify status and keep accounts compliant.
  • Help customers access and use the customer portal, including self-service tools and technical features.
  • Ensure customer interactions and transactions follow company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records for internal and external audit requests.
  • Coordinate with customer service, bookings, collections, accounting, and client experience teams.
  • Attend meetings, training sessions, performance reviews, and town halls.
  • Complete additional duties, provide supplemental training or Q&A support, and shift between casework and phone responsibilities as business needs change.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional email etiquette.
  • Ability to meet and consistently maintain management-defined performance targets.
  • Three to five years of combined customer service or account management experience in financial services, banking, or a related industry.
  • Preference for gaining most of this experience with one or two employers.
  • Ability to coordinate schedule adjustments with management based on client, company, or business needs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization, with the ability to prioritize work effectively and follow specific instructions.
  • Positive, enthusiastic approach with a commitment to supporting teammates, the company, and the industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting time-management objectives.
