Mid-Level Quality Data Analyst – Automotive, Remote Mexico

Manage quality reporting, delivery evidence, version control, and project deliverables for ALTEN México’s automotive engineering work. Partner with Ford Team Leaders and the BO Team to track progress and support timely delivery.

Description

  • Provide regular status updates to the assigned Team Leader and BO Team using reports, metrics, and delivery evidence.
  • Recommend the reports, tracking metrics, and delivery-evidence formats to use.
  • Apply changes requested by Ford Team Leaders and the BO Team.
  • Conduct preliminary reviews of project deliverables.
  • Complete and submit fully viable Ford deliverables according to schedules and milestones.
  • Prepare invention disclosures when required.
  • Monitor and maintain version-control procedures.
  • Deliver a closing summary report to the BO Team at the end of the Purchase Order, covering deliverables, timelines, achievements, and improvements.

Requirements

  • Automotive industry experience and a basic understanding of vehicle architectures and components.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel pivot tables and databases.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize a changing workload from multiple sources and collaborate with off-site teams.
  • More than two years of experience as a Quality Data Analyst.
  • Willingness to work and develop professionally with Alten in an automotive environment.
  • Flexibility to support the team’s schedule, including attending meetings at 6:00 a.m. when needed.
  • Problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent English for daily interaction with a supervisor in the United States.
  • B1/B2 visa required.
  • Passport required.
  • Engineering degree required.
  • Professional engineering license or credential required.
