Senior Account Coordinator Team Lead - Nevada Remote

Senior Account Coordinator Team Lead supporting self-funded health-plan administration for Health Plans, Inc. The role supervises coordinators, supports plan implementation, and resolves client account and claims issues.

Description

  • Support senior Client Services leaders and Account Managers with implementing plans for new clients
  • Manage account service issues for existing clients and brokers
  • Coordinate the implementation of new client groups
  • Create and assemble educational materials
  • Resolve claims and client service issues
  • Provide administrative support to the Client Services department
  • Communicate plan design updates, renewal changes, and other relevant information to internal staff
  • Supervise and train the Account Coordinator team
  • Allocate projects across the Account Coordinator team
  • Escalate issues to the Director and Vice President of Client Services
  • Identify team opportunities and potential concerns
  • Maintain PTO records and the department PTO tracker
  • Coordinate PTO approvals for Client Services staff, including Account Executives, Account Managers, and Account Coordinators
  • Act as the internal client contact when the Account Manager and Client Service Representative are unavailable

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of related work experience
  • Flexible availability to participate in employee benefit fairs as requested
  • Willingness to travel within the New England area as needed for employee benefit fairs
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with both managers and direct reports
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to anticipate and understand interactions between systems
  • Strong attention to detail with analytical and accurate work habits
  • Ability to recognize when follow-through and follow-up are needed
  • Ability to complete work within defined timeframes and meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify and protect confidential work materials appropriately
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus
