Bilingual Pharmacy Customer Associate – Hybrid | Elevance Health

Description

  • Answer basic questions about retail and mail-order prescriptions by phone and in writing.
  • Build and sustain positive customer relationships.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer requests accurately and promptly.
  • Communicate with subscribers, providers, benefit administrators, physician offices, third-party representatives, and other Blue Cross Plans.
  • Support claims, customer service, and membership needs.
  • Investigate issues and deliver proactive, complete solutions.
  • Manage service requests through resolution and follow-up.
  • Help customers navigate options, decisions, technology, tools, and resources.
  • Process calls, texts, facsimiles, and electronic queues while documenting interactions.
  • Work occasional overtime or modify schedules to meet business needs.
  • Complete other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus prior experience in an automated customer service environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Spanish or another additional language required.
  • Successful completion of a validated language test or assessment required.
  • High-volume call center experience preferred.
  • Specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving, facilitation, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to multitask while managing calls, texts, facsimiles, and electronic queues.
  • Ability to remain focused during extended periods of sitting.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work structured shifts scheduled between 4:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
  • Ability to work in the office as needed and commute a reasonable distance to a posted location.
  • Candidates must reside in one of the posted locations.
  • COVID-19 and influenza vaccination required for certain patient- or member-facing roles unless an acceptable explanation is provided.
