Workforce Absence Director, Client Services (Texas Remote)

Lead client-service strategy for Sedgwick’s complex workers’ compensation and absence-management accounts, focusing on retention, renewals, revenue growth, and service delivery. Oversee client-services staff and coordinate operational support across internal teams.

Description

  • Develop account-management strategies aligned with client-service plans
  • Drive client retention, satisfaction, revenue growth, survey completion, and new-business development
  • Manage programs for large clients requiring dedicated staff, multiple offices, and complex service models
  • Oversee local Client Services personnel
  • Prepare stewardship reports and advise clients on program issues and trends
  • Conduct pre-renewal visits and evaluate client loss experience and company performance
  • Anticipate potential client dissatisfaction before renewal discussions
  • Prepare renewals, contract revisions, and Client Service Instructions for complex programs
  • Negotiate service-plan changes and improvements
  • Address process, technology, and resource barriers by directing and influencing internal departments
  • Coordinate client invoicing, audits, and accounts-receivable follow-up
  • Resolve significant customer-service issues
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities
  • Participate in the local insurance community through advanced education and professional affiliations
  • Supervise personnel supporting programs with multiple Account Representatives
  • Maintain compliance with applicable quality initiatives
  • Support organizational quality programs
  • Complete other assigned duties
  • Travel as required
  • Provide support, direction, leadership, and motivation
  • Administer personnel policies and adhere to staffing and training standards
  • Interview candidates, hire employees, establish development plans, and conduct performance discussions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • CPCU, AIC, ARM, or another related designation preferred
  • At least 10 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required
  • Two years of account-management experience or five years of adjuster experience, including two years in a supervisory role
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office products
  • Strong analytical and interpretive abilities
