Technical Support Analyst - Tecsys - Remote Canada

Support Tecsys Elite applications for healthcare and distribution customers by investigating cases with ServiceNow, SQL, log analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Description

  • Manage and prioritize multiple cases from the incoming ServiceNow queue
  • Investigate straightforward to moderately complex issues across Tecsys Elite applications and integrations using logs, research, and issue reproduction
  • Use SQL queries and interpret Java code and stack traces to identify root causes
  • Explain technical issues clearly, establish business impact with customers, and provide updates through resolution
  • Offer workarounds or alternative solutions when a permanent correction is delayed
  • Escalate and coordinate cases with EBS, Cloud Operations, and BI teams when infrastructure, custom code, or other systems are involved
  • Record solutions in the knowledge base and fulfill SLA obligations

Requirements

  • University degree or DEC in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Up to three years of experience in technical support, help desk, or customer-facing support; recent graduates with internship or co-op experience are welcome to apply
  • Strong SQL capability and the ability to interpret Java-based code, logs, and stack traces
  • Excellent written and spoken English, including the listening and communication skills needed to explain technical issues clearly
  • Structured troubleshooting skills and the composure to handle multiple cases under pressure
  • Availability for a late shift from 4 PM ET to midnight or 5 PM ET to 1 AM ET, or for a weekend schedule from 8 AM ET to 8 PM ET on weekends plus two weekdays; schedules are provided in advance
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues outside Quebec
