Senior Technical Support Engineer – Identity at Cyera

Resolve complex enterprise identity-security issues for Cyera’s AI data-security platform. Build support operations, knowledge systems, and AI-assisted workflows.

Description

  • Own complex enterprise customer issues end to end, covering triage, bug reproduction, root-cause analysis, technical remediation, and customer communication
  • Troubleshoot customer identity environments across SaaS and on-premises deployments
  • Investigate distributed-system and data-pipeline issues across the Oasis platform
  • Diagnose NXLog collectors, S3 ingestion pipelines, MongoDB query behavior, asynchronous jobs, and Datadog logs
  • Work with Product and Engineering to reproduce defects, create detailed engineering tickets, and measure customer health signals
  • Develop the support knowledge base through customer troubleshooting guides, internal runbooks, and integration playbooks
  • Manage critical escalations and restore customer confidence after Sev-1 incidents
  • Create AI agents with Claude, Gemini, and MCP servers to automate L1/L2 triage, log analysis, and case routing across Slack, Linear, and Pylon
  • Establish SLAs, support KPIs, escalation procedures, on-call coverage, and internal workflows with TAMs, Solution Architects, and Engineering

Requirements

  • At least six years of experience in technical support, solutions engineering, or customer-facing engineering in cybersecurity
  • Required: direct experience with identity security, including IAM, PAM, IGA, or non-human identity
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Okta, Entra ID, Active Directory, SailPoint, CyberArk, or BeyondTrust
  • Practical knowledge of IAM services in AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Strong command of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, Kerberos, and mTLS
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud-security models, including role policies, trust relationships, Azure Service Principals and Enterprise Applications, and GCP Service Accounts
  • Working knowledge of service accounts, API keys, tokens, certificates, secrets rotation, ephemeral credentials, and just-in-time access
  • Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, or GCP Secret Manager
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise logging and SIEM platforms such as Datadog or Splunk
  • Fluency in SQL, JSON, YAML, and HCL
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills with HTTP debugging, HAR traces, and Go or TypeScript stack traces
  • Comfort using AI tools in daily support operations and creating effective prompts
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to stay calm, clear, and methodical during major technical escalations and outages
  • Exceptional relationship-management and multi-channel communication skills
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and customer-success orientation
