Customer Support Specialist II – Medical Device Services

Support Cook Deutschland’s medical device capital equipment services by coordinating customer requests, technician schedules, service quotations, inventories, complaints, and service records.

Description

  • Provide expert guidance on the capital equipment portfolio and related service requirements
  • Answer sales and customer questions about service packages, pricing, quotations, and manufacturer recommendations
  • Accelerate service quotations and purchase-order collection for repairs identified during preventive maintenance
  • Improve field technician scheduling by identifying nearby opportunities for additional service calls
  • Manage evaluation and loaner inventories and order replacement parts for customers when needed
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and ordering systems
  • Support and coordinate regional projects as assigned
  • Communicate professionally with customers
  • Process capital equipment product and service complaints
  • Assign customer capital equipment service requests to technicians
  • Keep accurate capital equipment service records and follow company procedures
  • Ensure technicians submit service reports on time
  • Receive supply shipments and verify the accompanying documentation
  • Complete additional tasks as directed by the manager

Requirements

  • Associate degree or diploma as stated in the job header
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience related to the role’s functions and duties in a comparable setting
  • Preferred: 3–5 years of experience in service scheduling and customer service
  • Experience in medical device services or clinical healthcare environments is highly valued
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong administrative capabilities
  • Detailed, organized approach with the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • Preferred knowledge of product and ordering systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Pleasant telephone manner
  • Ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast-paced situations
