Care Team Representative – Sedgwick, Arizona Remote

Entry-level remote role with Sedgwick supporting claimants and callers across insurance claims services. Responsibilities include claim intake, customer guidance, documentation, and issue resolution.

Description

  • Deliver empathetic, high-quality service to callers about claims across multiple business lines
  • Help move claims forward and record comprehensive notes for every call
  • Resolve customer issues through a single-contact response whenever possible
  • Route calls through the appropriate escalation channels when needed
  • Serve as the main liaison for callers from multiple client accounts in a shared-services setting
  • Answer questions and troubleshoot claims applications and servicing procedures
  • Handle claim intake and end-to-end customer support in line with regulatory, company, and client standards
  • Explain required documentation, processing timelines, payment details, and claim status
  • Guide claimants and callers through client requirements and benefit plans
  • Enter spoken and written claim details accurately into the designated system
  • Connect customers with the correct contacts or escalate matters to Service Center Specialists or management
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • At least one year of customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required
  • Inbound call center experience is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and the Windows environment
  • Ability to meet minimum typing standards
  • Well-developed organizational skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to support several clients across communication channels while using multiple systems at once
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies
  • Ability to fulfill all attendance expectations
  • Availability throughout scheduled working hours is required
