Descriere

  • Handle inbound calls from consumers, prospective enrollees, and representatives supporting current enrollees
  • Manage inbound and outbound contacts professionally and effectively
  • Record and monitor inquiries in the required systems
  • Direct or refer consumers to the appropriate entities
  • Send requested materials by mail, email, or download
  • Arrange translation services for callers who do not speak English
  • Refer calls and issues to designated staff when escalation is required
  • Participate in meetings and training while keeping program and system knowledge current
  • Complete telephone-based healthcare coverage applications, including tax household setup, income and eligibility determinations, Marketplace decision interpretation, and health-plan enrollment
  • Process life-event changes, demographic updates, disenrollment requests, and special enrollment periods
  • Handle inquiries in compliance with confidentiality and privacy requirements
  • Achieve Quality Assurance standards and other key performance targets
  • Follow established workplace safety procedures
  • Remain seated or stationary for extended periods and occasionally lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Complete other responsibilities assigned by management

Cerințe

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • At least six months of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Live within 100 miles of Rochester, New York
  • Currently and permanently reside in the continental United States
  • Strong data-entry and telephone skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities
  • Comfort working effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks successfully at the same time
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Prior experience with computers, phone systems, and headsets is preferred
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred
  • Home internet speed of at least 20 Mbps
  • Home internet connection through Wi-Fi or a Category 5 or 6 Ethernet patch cable connected to the router
  • Complete five days of onsite training in Rochester, New York
