Healthcare Customer Service Representative
Handle patient, provider, and pharmacy questions about copay programs, claims, and prescriptions in this remote healthcare support role at TEKsystems.
Description
- Respond to calls from patients, pharmacies, and healthcare providers.
- Help activate copay cards, update accounts, and address claims questions.
- Resolve pharmacy rejection messages and issues related to coverage.
- Record customer interactions accurately across multiple systems.
- Meet established quality, attendance, and productivity targets.
- Follow confidentiality and compliance requirements.
- Attend paid virtual training on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Answer copay program questions, update accounts, support claims, and resolve issues for patients, pharmacies, and healthcare providers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least six months of call center or customer service experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Comfort using multiple applications and two monitors.
- Type at least 30 words per minute while speaking with customers.
- Experience handling confidential information.
- Availability for assigned eight-hour shifts between 8:00 a.m. and midnight, Monday through Sunday.
- Healthcare, pharmacy, insurance, patient services, or benefits experience is preferred.
- Experience with CRM systems and high-volume phone work is preferred.
