Full-Time Customer Service Representative – Dreieich-Sprendlingen (Hybrid)

Coordinate customer orders, documentation, deliveries, and claims as a Customer Service Representative supporting BW Papersystems, a manufacturer of machinery for paper and packaging products.

Description

  • Act as the central link between customers, Sales, and internal teams to keep order processing smooth and professional.
  • Oversee the complete order cycle, from quotation preparation to order entry.
  • Create customer- and order-specific documents such as quotations, order confirmations, pro forma invoices, and advance-payment invoices.
  • Deliver knowledgeable, service-focused customer support while developing lasting business relationships.
  • Follow up proactively on quotations and remain a dependable customer contact.
  • Reinforce sales initiatives through focused, professional communication with customers.
  • Align delivery schedules with Procurement, Shipping, and Production.
  • Work with technical teams to deliver tailored customer requirements.
  • Assist Finance with follow-up on overdue receivables.
  • Resolve spare-parts complaints with a practical, customer-oriented approach.
  • Identify process improvements and help advance the company’s objectives.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification.
  • At least three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Background supporting demanding customers and, preferably, key accounts.
  • Sound understanding of sales and order-processing workflows, including quotation preparation and order handling.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in working with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset and strong organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing process improvement.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English.
  • Additional foreign-language skills are advantageous.
  • A collaborative team-oriented attitude.
  • A practical, solution-focused approach.
  • Ability to stay calm and professional in challenging situations.
