Financial Education Specialist – Montreal Hybrid

Educate Canadian group retirement plan members at Manulife while addressing service inquiries, maintaining compliant records, and referring clients to Wealth & Retirement advisors.

Description

  • Educate members seeking guidance through inbound, outbound, and email interactions.
  • Collect and accurately document customer information in the CRM to support privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Deliver accurate, professional customer service experiences.
  • Explain the value of advice and make effective referrals to Wealth & Retirement advisors.
  • Review existing leads, resolve immediate needs, and arrange warm introductions to Wealth & Retirement advisors when appropriate.
  • Address client requests related to service needs.
  • Achieve departmental productivity, quality, and call-audit standards.
  • Fulfill service-level agreements for Welcome call activities.
  • Keep informed about changes to legislation, products, and administrative procedures.
  • Manage the advisor toll-free line.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of financial services experience, preferably in a telephone-based role.
  • Advanced listening and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to consult effectively with all customers.
  • Ability to adapt to the business’s changing needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Post-secondary education in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Canadian Securities Course or IFIC certification is an asset.
  • Understanding of investment products available to Canadian investors, including RRSPs and RRIFs.
  • Knowledge of segregated funds; strong English and French bilingualism is an asset, and Québec-based candidates must be proficient in both languages to support clients across provinces outside Québec.
