Clinical Retention Specialist — South Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina

Support patients and healthcare providers with Omnipod education, clinical troubleshooting, and retention efforts. Manage phone and virtual engagement across assigned South-region territories for Insulet Corporation.

Description

  • Provide tailored education and training to new and existing patients and healthcare providers by phone and virtual platforms
  • Deliver proactive follow-up, clinical guidance, recommendations, and troubleshooting to support ongoing device adoption
  • Train customers and healthcare providers on Omnipod data and reporting tools
  • Act as the clinical retention representative for an assigned geographic territory
  • Conduct outreach to evaluate satisfaction, reinforce product value, and address concerns
  • Apply clinical retention selling techniques to encourage continued Omnipod use
  • Analyze data to identify disengagement and potential churn
  • Work with Customer Success teams to develop focused retention strategies
  • Evaluate barriers to therapy continuation and implement patient-centered solutions
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to align education with treatment plans
  • Partner with clinical managers, regional field teams, sales leaders, and other cross-functional groups
  • Report regional trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Help develop educational resources, customer journeys, and retention campaigns
  • Assist clinicians and customers with clinical software and digital diabetes management tools
  • Record customer interactions, outcomes, and follow-up actions in Salesforce
  • Analyze engagement data, usage patterns, and retention metrics
  • Contribute to data-driven programs designed to improve regional retention performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Hold active professional clinical credentials, such as Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Dietitian (RD)
  • Bring at least three years of experience training or supporting insulin pump patients
  • Have direct experience working with healthcare providers in diabetes care
  • Hold a current Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) credential
  • Maintain all required professional licenses and Omnipod product certifications
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively with varied audiences by phone and virtual platforms
  • Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and expertise in diabetes technology and data interpretation
  • Use a consultative, influence-based approach to customer engagement and retention
  • Apply strong problem-solving, workflow optimization, and objection-handling skills
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Live within the assigned geographic region
  • Maintain a home workspace that meets company security and productivity standards
  • Be able to sit and speak by phone for extended periods during scheduled shifts
  • Have the manual dexterity needed to use a computer and headset
  • Be available for occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and limited travel as needed
