Junior Hybrid Support Engineer - Santo Domingo | Rockwell Automation
Provide technical support for Rockwell Automation’s industrial control, sensing, and networking products in a hybrid Santo Domingo role. Diagnose customer hardware, software, and communications issues while creating practical technical resources.
विवरण
- Investigate industrial automation hardware, software, and network issues that first-line support cannot resolve
- Escalate design, reliability, maintenance, and software concerns to product engineering and development teams
- Deliver technical assistance to customers using advanced industrial automation products and solutions
- Support products including sensors, safety components, code readers, RFID, encoders, vision systems, condition monitoring solutions, and industrial networking technologies
- Troubleshoot EtherNet/IP, IO-Link, DeviceNet, and related automation protocols
- Serve as a technical advisor and company liaison across diverse product families and applications
- Manage customer communications, document troubleshooting and resolutions in service systems, set expectations, and complete follow-up
- Use Knowledge-Centered Service practices to strengthen knowledge sharing and customer outcomes
- Create technical notes, troubleshooting guides, knowledge articles, training content, videos, and related documentation
- Work with sales, engineering, product management, and other teams to resolve customer challenges and improve product adoption
- Take part in after-hours and weekend support rotations
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical, electromechanical, mechatronics, telematics engineering, or a related technical field
- Relevant industrial automation experience may substitute for equivalent technical education
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- At least one year of experience supporting industrial automation, controls, sensing, machine automation, or industrial networking products
- Experience with Rockwell Automation and Allen-Bradley products
- Experience with safety components, relays, contactors, overload relays, GuardLink, soft starters, variable frequency drives, Logix controllers, PLC programming, circuit breakers, circuit protection, and motor starters
- Experience troubleshooting sensors, RFID systems, industrial code readers, IO-Link devices, EtherNet/IP networks, and related automation technologies
- Previous technical support experience with industrial products, control software, or automation solutions
- Experience working with customers, distributors, OEMs, systems integrators, engineering teams, and sales organizations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated customer focus and exceptional technical support experience
- Availability from 9 AM to 6 PM, including some evening and weekend coverage
- Availability for after-hours, weekend, and on-call support rotations
