Remote Customer Support Specialist in South Africa
Handle complex UK customer issues by email, chat and phone, while helping improve support operations. This fully remote role is based in South Africa and follows UK working hours.
Opis
- Respond to customer queries across email, chat and phone
- Investigate complex or technical issues and escalate them when needed
- Record solutions in the help desk and knowledge base
- Spot recurring issues and recommend improvements
- Meet response-time and customer-satisfaction targets
- Take ownership of UK customer issues through resolution
- Work UK hours: 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
- Use cloud-based tools while working from home
- Work with a UK team
Zahteve
- Background in customer support or a service desk role
- Experience using a help desk tool such as Zendesk or Freshdesk
- Excellent written English
- Calm and empathetic approach
- Strong problem-solving and ticket-prioritisation skills
- Reliable computer and headset, plus a stable fibre connection
- Experience supporting UK or international customers is an advantage
- Familiarity with SaaS or e-commerce products is an advantage
- Experience writing help centre articles is an advantage
