Contact Center Care Coordinator

Coordinate patient services for Texas Oncology’s community care network. Handle inquiries, appointments, education, and issue resolution by phone, email, and chat.

  • Coordinate healthcare services among patients, families, care providers, and other healthcare institutions while delivering attentive customer service.
  • Schedule appointments and support, educate, and guide patients and providers.
  • Promote a positive patient experience by prioritizing satisfaction and resolving concerns.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries by phone, email, and chat.
  • Share accurate information about products and services.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns.
  • Record customer interactions, including inquiries, comments, and complaints.
  • Follow up with customers to confirm their issues have been resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed quality and productivity service-level targets.
  • Keep current on product and service details and promotions.
  • Work with colleagues to deliver effective customer service.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by Contact Center leadership.

Prasības

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in customer service, a call center, or a healthcare-related role.
  • Prior healthcare experience and familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in a call center or customer service environment, with knowledge of service principles, call center telephony, and related technology.
  • Experience using an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Strong listening, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, pleasant, and respectful telephone manner.
  • Spanish and English bilingual ability preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with callers, colleagues, and managers.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet service-level targets.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, including calls, email responses, and customer record updates.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing caller needs, company policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally stoop, bend, and stretch.
  • Ability to occasionally lift files or paper weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier, and other office equipment.
  • Correctable vision to 20/20 and hearing within the normal range for telephone contacts.
  • Ability to view and type on computer screens for extended periods.
