Service Desk Engineer (Remote, Serbia) - Tabby

Join Tabby’s fintech operations team in Serbia to support incidents, investigate issues with SQL and observability tools, improve service processes, and develop AI-powered operational automation.

Description

  • Triage alerts and incidents, assess their impact, and route escalations to the appropriate teams.
  • Coordinate incident resolution while keeping stakeholders updated.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, including occasional out-of-hours alerts.
  • Support post-mortems and track resulting action items through completion.
  • Respond to requests from support teams and internal colleagues.
  • Use logs, metrics, and SQL to investigate technical issues, identify bugs, and prepare actionable development tasks.
  • Maintain runbooks and documentation for L1 and L2 support teams.
  • Improve support workflows and incident management practices.
  • Automate repetitive work and help develop internal tools, including BackOffice and alerting systems.
  • Evaluate and deploy AI and LLM-based solutions for request handling, incident triage, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in service desk, production support, or a comparable operations role.
  • Practical incident management experience or a strong interest in developing this capability.
  • A structured approach and clear communication during service disruptions.
  • Strong ownership, initiative, and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, or Kibana.
  • Ability to write basic SQL queries.
  • Experience using Jira.
  • English proficiency suitable for written communication and technical documentation at B2 level or above.
  • Experience applying AI or LLM tools to support or operations, such as chatbots, AI agents, workflow automation, or prompt engineering, is desirable.
  • Google Cloud experience is desirable.
  • Google Apps Script experience is desirable.
  • Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or Go is desirable.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes is desirable.
  • Jira administration experience is desirable.
