Senior Customer Advocate, AECO Customer Reliability – Autodesk Hybrid

Lead Autodesk’s customer reliability efforts for AECO products by turning customer insights into prioritized action. Partner across Product, Engineering, Support, and other teams to improve reliability, productivity, sentiment, and technical readiness.

Description

  • Create and maintain a structured listening program using AECO customer, Support, field, Product, sentiment, and data signals
  • Detect, validate, and prioritize systemic customer pain at an early stage
  • Develop insight into AECO customer workflows and business challenges, with an initial focus on Construction
  • Build the product and technical knowledge needed to investigate issues across a broad portfolio
  • Work with customers, customer-facing teams, and internal partners to confirm issues and test assumptions
  • Turn qualitative and quantitative evidence into clear, actionable cases
  • Identify connections among systemic issues, products, and workflows to inform priorities
  • Organize complex cross-functional issues, align ownership, manage dependencies, and clarify decisions
  • Use evidence-based recommendations to influence Product, Engineering, and senior stakeholders
  • Work with Product & Support Readiness to convert decisions and resolved issues into scalable customer-facing actions
  • Track prioritized issues through resolution and measure effects on customer pain, productivity, sentiment, and technical readiness
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Technical Support, Technical Account Management, Product & Support Readiness, Customer Success, and other Autodesk teams

Requirements

  • At least seven years of experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in customer, technology, product, program, or business settings
  • Proven ability to lead programs and deliver work that produces meaningful outcomes
  • Strong analytical judgment with the ability to recognize patterns
  • Ability to combine quantitative and qualitative evidence and form a well-supported perspective from incomplete or ambiguous data
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Experience navigating complex organizations with distributed ownership and decision-making
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Ability to make complex customer, technical, and data-driven problems understandable to Product and executive audiences
  • Ability to focus on high-impact issues while balancing competing demands
  • Comfort working with data, analytics, and AI-assisted tools
  • Ability to rapidly develop product and technical understanding across a broad portfolio
  • Collaborative, low-ego leadership approach, strong curiosity, and willingness to work across organizational boundaries
  • Preferred: Experience in or supporting the AECO industry, especially Construction
  • Preferred: Experience working with Product Management and Engineering on quality, reliability, adoption, customer experience, or roadmap decisions
  • Preferred: Experience supporting strategic or enterprise customers
  • Preferred: Experience with Voice of Customer, structured listening programs, customer-facing roles, systemic issue management, or problem-management practices
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Autodesk AECO products or comparable design, engineering, construction, or collaboration technologies
  • Preferred: Experience creating scalable methods that reduce recurring customer issues and improve customer impact
