Remote Fraud Advisor at RBC

RBC is hiring a remote Fraud Advisor in Canada to help clients prevent fraud and address security concerns. The role provides support by phone and email while managing risk and client relationships.

Description

  • Support RBC clients by phone, email, and other channels while delivering a strong service experience and helping protect them from fraud.
  • Assess clients’ immediate security needs, explain protective measures, and recommend solutions that reduce potential fraud losses.
  • Resolve client issues during the initial interaction with a friendly, practical approach.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to shared team performance by helping meet client needs.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners across RBC.
  • Follow compliance procedures, risk controls, and operational processes to protect client and shareholder interests.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience involving varied, needs-based solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build rapport, assess situations effectively, and identify solutions that reduce risk and protect clients.
  • Genuine interest in creating excellent client experiences, with curiosity and commitment to addressing client needs and concerns.
  • Availability for varied Monday-to-Sunday shifts between 7 AM and midnight; the department operates 24/7.
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Experience working in a team and performance environment measured by metrics is preferred.
  • Previous contact centre, call centre, financial services, or fast-paced service industry experience is preferred.
  • French and English bilingualism is an asset.
  • Candidates must live in Winnipeg or British Columbia.
  • Ability to meet technology and confidentiality standards, including access to a private, quiet workspace and reliable internet connectivity.
