Remote Claim Quality Assurance Supervisor, Material Damage

Lead quality assurance for material damage, total loss, and salvage claims at Aspire General Insurance. Drive compliance, coaching, operational performance, and claims process improvements in a remote U.S. role.

Description

  • Lead and develop teams of Material Damage Specialists, Total Loss Adjusters, Salvage Specialists, and Field Appraisers
  • Balance workloads and introduce load-leveling practices to improve cycle times and efficiency
  • Audit claim files and conduct quality reviews for consistency and compliance
  • Oversee employee performance, development plans, and evaluations
  • Build accountability, collaboration, training, and continuous improvement across the team
  • Ensure claims are resolved accurately and on time under company standards and industry best practices
  • Oversee total loss and salvage claim-handling activities
  • Track claim quality and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Apply insurance codes, including post-repair vehicle inspection requirements
  • Analyze operating metrics and take corrective action when needed
  • Create, maintain, and refine claims policies, procedures, workflows, and best practices
  • Prepare and maintain tow and storage charge surveys to evaluate reasonable and unreasonable fees
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and claims systems
  • Work with leadership and IT to increase efficiency and automate workflows
  • Monitor changes in state insurance regulations and industry practices
  • Support employee training, technical development, and claims education
  • Offer technical direction and encourage professional development
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and claim records
  • Deliver operational reports and performance updates to leadership
  • Raise risks, concerns, and operational problems for resolution
  • Work with Human Resources on attendance, performance, and employee relations issues

Requirements

  • At least seven years of Property and Casualty insurance experience
  • Extensive experience with vehicle estimating
  • Extensive experience handling property damage claims
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring, and developing claims teams
  • Deep knowledge of insurance practices, claims standards, regulations, and terminology
  • Experience managing high-volume workloads while preserving service and quality levels
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management capabilities
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, claims platforms, and Windows applications
  • Ability to complete a background check
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, paperless work environment
  • Total loss leadership experience preferred
  • Salvage operations experience preferred
  • Material damage management or supervisory experience preferred
  • California claims-handling experience preferred
  • Multi-state claims-handling experience preferred
  • Experience managing vendors, repair facilities, and appraisal operations preferred
  • Strong capability in leadership and team development
  • Expertise in property damage claims and vehicle estimating
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills
