Description

  • Manage patient cases from enrollment through resolution.
  • Conduct benefit investigations and handle prior authorizations and denial appeals.
  • Assess patients’ financial eligibility for assistance programs.
  • Guide patients, prescribers, and stakeholders to resolution through email, inbound and outbound calls, and Lynk technology.
  • Develop dependable relationships with patients, prescribers, and client contacts.
  • Complete program welcome calls and follow-up calls after benefit investigations.
  • Respond to client and healthcare provider questions.
  • Answer inbound calls and direct patients to suitable resources.
  • Deliver individualized case management while explaining coverage and next steps.
  • Determine requirements for prior authorizations, appeals, tier exceptions, and formulary exclusions.
  • Track submissions and outcomes with payers and healthcare providers.
  • Arrange nurse education, adherence support, peer assistance, and product shipments.
  • Explain prior authorization reverification and patient assistance re-enrollment requirements.
  • Report adverse events, product complaints, special situation reports, and medical inquiries under applicable SOPs and business rules.
  • Record case activity in the PharmaCord Lynk system.
  • Complete assigned training and comply with standard operating procedures.
  • Support other assigned duties and projects.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred; equivalent experience is required.
  • Customer service or healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Available for an 8.5-hour shift scheduled between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Spanish-English bilingual ability is a plus.
  • Eligible for remote work under work-from-home standards and business requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Effective multitasking ability.
  • Clear, concise communication skills.
  • Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy is preferred.
  • Successful completion of a background check and, where applicable, a drug screening.
