National Account Manager – Electronic Security, Germany Remote

Manage strategic German accounts for ADI, a global distributor of security, audiovisual, and smart-living technologies. Lead sales growth, margin performance, customer value, and adoption of exclusive brands.

Description

  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key customers across Germany
  • Oversee major accounts within the electronic security solutions distribution market
  • Increase customer satisfaction and business growth through tailored solutions and high-quality service
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the complete customer relationship in Germany
  • Direct growth initiatives for assigned major and national accounts
  • Create and execute account plans focused on revenue and margin expansion
  • Increase the long-term value of customer relationships
  • Coordinate with Credit and Accounts Payable teams to help avoid credit-limit blocks
  • Use SFDC, PROS Guidance, and SAP for supplier pricing management and margin planning
  • Keep account profiles current through profile sheets and internal records
  • Create and execute plans to grow adoption of ADI Exclusive Brands
  • Manage opportunities and the Salesforce pipeline, including SFDC reporting and WAYBE accountability

Requirements

  • Bring at least 5–8 years of field sales experience
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, plus Salesforce experience
  • Provide a high standard of customer service and relationship management
  • Understand electronic security solutions, products, and market conditions in depth
  • Communicate, negotiate, and build professional relationships effectively
  • Speak German and English fluently; additional languages are beneficial
  • Be prepared to travel across EMEA for customer meetings and industry events
  • Have experience operating in a corporate setting and managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver clear, effective communications and presentations
  • Organize work effectively through prioritization, scheduling, time management, and deadline management
  • Listen carefully and maintain close attention to detail
  • Show a consistent record of meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets
  • Demonstrate success winning new customers through cold outreach
  • Take substantial ownership, work independently with limited supervision, stay focused on results, and remain self-motivated
  • Have experience negotiating with senior stakeholders at leading enterprise organizations
