Human Resources Coordinator (Temp-to-Perm) – Plano Hybrid

Support recruiting, onboarding, employee training, and HR administration in a hybrid coordinator role with Benefit Harbor in the Plano area.

Description

  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, professional networks, and other recruiting channels
  • Publish and maintain job openings across recruiting platforms
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct candidate outreach and provide communication throughout the recruiting process
  • Schedule phone screens, virtual and onsite interviews, and meetings with hiring managers
  • Manage interview calendars and send confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and next-step communications
  • Maintain candidate records and recruiting activity in the HRIS or ATS
  • Support candidate tracking, recruiting reports, background checks, employment and reference verifications, offers, and other pre-employment activities
  • Coordinate new-hire onboarding from offer acceptance through the employee’s first day
  • Prepare onboarding materials, forms, documentation, orientations, schedules, meetings, and introductions
  • Explain company policies, HRIS processes, benefits, required training, security procedures, and other onboarding requirements
  • Track required training assignments, follow up on overdue items, send reminders, and maintain completion records
  • Help administer the LMS and coordinate HR, compliance, security, SOC 2, and other training programs
  • Provide daily administrative support to the HR Operations & Talent Manager
  • Respond to employee questions and HR requests while supporting HRIS data entry, record updates, lifecycle transactions, check-ins, communications, meetings, policies, reports, audits, and compliance work
  • Act as a responsive contact for routine employee HR needs and help support engagement initiatives
  • Maintain HR calendars, trackers, spreadsheets, documentation, and confidential records
  • Support special HR projects, events, orientations, process improvements, and organizational initiatives
  • Coordinate activities with internal departments and external vendors
  • Perform assigned services for Benefit Harbor under its day-to-day direction while WorkWell serves as the Employer of Record

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, HR administration, or a related area
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Careful attention to detail with dependable follow-through
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to protect confidential information and use sound judgment
  • Professional, service-oriented approach when working with employees and candidates
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and other standard business software
  • Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with HR colleagues and business leaders
  • Ability to explain HR processes and expectations clearly
  • Strong listening, collaboration, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work with HR, hiring managers, employees, candidates, leadership, and external partners
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Strong work ethic and self-directed approach
  • Integrity, reliability, accountability, strong organization, and close attention to detail
  • Must live in the DFW Metroplex for the local hybrid schedule
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Preferred: Experience using an HRIS or Applicant Tracking System
  • Preferred: Experience coordinating recruiting activities and interviews
  • Preferred: Experience supporting employee onboarding
  • Preferred: Experience administering or tracking LMS training
  • Preferred: Experience in technology, SaaS, benefits administration, or professional services

Benefits

  • Temporary full-time assignment with potential conversion to a permanent position
  • Hybrid schedule with 2–3 onsite days and flexibility to work from home
  • Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Weekly pay
