HR Operations Supervisor, Benefits (Remote - United States)

Supervise PuzzleHR’s managed benefits team while supporting employee development, client service, escalations, recruiting, onboarding, and operational improvements.

Description

  • Supervise, develop, support, and guide the Managed Benefits Team
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with employees and clients
  • Design and deliver proactive training sessions aligned with client needs and identified opportunities
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to support client success
  • Oversee recruiting and onboarding for new Managed Benefits Team hires
  • Help team members develop standard operating procedures for managed benefits services and support
  • Partner with leadership on service enhancements, resource planning, and strategic initiatives
  • Manage escalations, develop action plans, and support affected team members and clients
  • Handle supervisory responsibilities including performance management, recognition, rewards, time and attendance, payroll management and approval, and employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing employees
  • Strong knowledge of operational and benefits administration best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and use relevant systems and platforms
  • Strong organizational skills for managing detailed work across shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to prepare and deliver clear, effective presentations
  • Ability to protect and manage sensitive, confidential information
  • Proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Office Suite, or comparable software
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least three years of related experience preferred
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • At least two years of related benefits and/or HCM experience preferred
  • Experience using online project management boards, such as Smartsheet, preferred
  • SHRM, PHR, or CEBS certification preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and improve processes
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer
  • Ability to lift or move up to 15 pounds occasionally
  • Availability to participate in video conferences and meetings
