Customer Value Manager (Full-Time, On-Site in Mauritius)

Drive subscriber acquisition, retention, churn reduction, and profitability across the Mauritius market. Lead CRM, customer analytics, and lifecycle value initiatives in a full-time, on-site role.

Description

  • Analyze subscriber behavior across acquisition, engagement, usage, retention, churn, and reactivation.
  • Segment the subscriber portfolio by value, behavior, and growth potential.
  • Track customer performance metrics such as ARPU, churn, retention, usage, and satisfaction.
  • Evaluate initiative outcomes and support sustainable growth in subscriber value.
  • Develop and manage CRM and relationship-marketing plans across the customer lifecycle.
  • Create personalized upsell, cross-sell, and retention programs.
  • Oversee direct marketing related to offer changes and subscriber-value protection.
  • Support acquisition and upsell plans aligned with business goals.
  • Assess campaign results and provide recommendations focused on return on investment.
  • Model the customer-value, churn, and ARPU effects of offer changes.
  • Recommend enhancements to commercial and marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate customer-value activities with sales, marketing, distribution, and customer service teams.
  • Help shape the commercial strategy for the Mauritius market.
  • Connect operational priorities with broader business objectives through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market offers, promotional mechanics, and usage trends.
  • Identify market opportunities and risks to refine customer-value strategies.

Requirements

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in subscription marketing, CRM or data marketing, or customer value management.
  • Background in telecommunications, media, or another subscription-based business.
  • Strong knowledge of retention drivers, churn management, and subscriber segmentation.
  • Expertise in customer metrics such as CLV, churn, and retention, with the ability to interpret and improve performance.
  • Excellent analytical and data-synthesis capabilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM, campaign-management, and data-visualization or analysis tools, including SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong experience in relationship marketing and subscriber-portfolio management.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • A strong commercial and customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to turn data into strategic business decisions.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and well organized.
  • Effective interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and willing to take initiative.
  • Adaptable in a dynamic, multi-site working environment.
  • Based exclusively in Mauritius, with travel to retail locations across the territory.
