Business Banking Customer Service Representative - Pittsburgh Hybrid

Support PNC business banking customers through the Care Center, handling 50–60 daily calls involving accounts, lending, cards, and technology. Resolve inquiries and service issues while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

Description

  • Support PNC business customers through the Care Center.
  • Handle 50–60 inbound calls each day.
  • Resolve customer concerns, technology issues, and general account inquiries on the first call when possible.
  • Assist customers with deposit, lending, and credit card products.
  • Receive, investigate, and answer inquiries across all service channels.
  • Resolve service issues and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Address complex or recurring issues and engage higher-level customer contacts when needed.
  • Maintain strong customer satisfaction and uphold quality standards.
  • Record customer interactions and complete service requests.
  • Apply the CARES service model with customers and service partners.
  • Evaluate and manage risk under PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Work varied Monday–Friday shifts between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST, with weekend requirements.

Requirements

  • At least one year of related experience is typically required.
  • Current PNC Care Center experience is expected for successful candidates.
  • Knowledge of business or consumer accounts and deposit, lending, and credit card products.
  • Customer service and technical support capabilities.
  • Accuracy and close attention to detail.
  • Client relationship management skills.
  • Sound decision-making and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Fraud detection and prevention knowledge.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Problem-solving ability and knowledge of products and services.
  • Comfortable and capable working with technology.
  • A private workspace with a closable door for confidentiality.
  • High-speed internet connected directly by cable or fiber to the modem and router.
  • Internet service providing at least 20 Mbps upload and download speeds.
  • DSL, satellite, dial-up, cellular, microwave, Broadband Powerline, and wireless internet connections are not permitted.
  • Must satisfy Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and, where applicable, SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements for registered roles.
  • PNC does not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT.
