Autodesk Customer Advocate, Design & Manufacturing

Improve the reliability of Autodesk’s design and manufacturing software by turning customer intelligence into product, engineering, and scalable support actions. Connect recurring customer issues with strategic decisions and measurable resolution.

Description

  • Identify and prioritize systemic customer pain using support data, conversations, escalations, telemetry, sentiment, and related signals
  • Learn Design & Manufacturing workflows and validate customer issues with customers and internal partners
  • Create decision-ready Reliability Packages that combine customer evidence, quantitative analysis, business impact, and strategic context
  • Recommend solution paths spanning product or engineering changes, diagnostics, supportability, workflow guidance, digital solutions, and communications
  • Link recurring customer issues to Autodesk and product strategy priorities
  • Move high-priority issues toward decisions and accountable ownership, escalating unresolved alignment or ownership gaps
  • Organize complex cross-functional work by aligning stakeholders, clarifying responsibilities, and maintaining momentum
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering to incorporate customer intelligence into roadmaps, reliability work, planning, and prioritization
  • Use strategic customer escalations to identify systemic risk and material customer impact
  • Represent customer perspectives through direct engagement, advisory groups, support interactions, sentiment, community input, and other channels
  • Work with Support Readiness to turn decisions, workarounds, product changes, and resolved issues into scalable guidance
  • Track prioritized issues through the Reliability value chain and assess whether actions reduced customer pain
  • Apply data, analytics, and AI-assisted tools to accelerate signal discovery and synthesis while using human judgment and product expertise

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in technical support, technical account management, customer advocacy, product insights, product operations, product management, or a related customer- or product-facing field
  • Hands-on knowledge of Autodesk Fusion, Autodesk Inventor, or comparable professional CAD/CAM software
  • Ability to understand complex Design & Manufacturing workflows, product behavior, and technical customer issues
  • Strong analytical judgment and ability to recognize patterns
  • Ability to combine quantitative and qualitative information and recommend actions with incomplete or ambiguous data
  • Experience building business cases or problem narratives that connect evidence, customer impact, business impact, and recommended action
  • Ability to independently organize and lead ambiguous cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability to align stakeholders and dependencies and influence Product Management, Engineering, and senior leaders without direct authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex customer and technical issues clearly to Product and executive audiences
  • Ability to focus on a limited set of high-impact issues
  • Comfort working with modern data, analytics, and AI-assisted tools
  • Preferred: experience partnering with Product Management and Engineering on product quality, reliability, defect prioritization, or roadmap decisions
  • Preferred: experience supporting strategic or enterprise Design & Manufacturing customers
  • Preferred: familiarity with CAD, CAM, data management, collaboration, or manufacturing processes
  • Preferred: experience with customer advisory, Voice of Customer, systemic issue management, or problem-management practices
  • Preferred: experience creating scalable methods to reduce recurring customer issues
