Tavsif

  • Assist patients with payments, billing guidance, insurance verification, and claims questions.
  • Take patient payments by phone in line with financial responsibility policies.
  • Set up and maintain patient payment plans.
  • Keep transactions, records, and data accurate.
  • Explain claim notes, account balances, and billing results to patients.
  • Check, review, and update insurance details.
  • Enter insurance information in the EMR and resubmit pending or corrected claims.
  • Explain coordination of benefits, deductibles, coinsurance, copays, filing deadlines, and claim denials.
  • Spot billing discrepancies and work with internal teams to address them.
  • Review account histories to identify the causes of billing or payment concerns.
  • Suggest policy-aligned solutions and follow-up steps.
  • Work with billing systems, EMR platforms, other tools, and reference materials.
  • Switch between multiple systems while assisting patients.
  • Follow assigned schedules and remain available during scheduled hours.
  • Complete required client training and take part in additional and cross-training.
  • Follow HIPAA and all confidentiality, privacy, and security rules.
  • Deliver professional, accountable, empathetic, patient-focused service.

Talablar

  • Customer service or call center experience is required.
  • Healthcare billing, insurance, or claims experience is strongly preferred.
  • Payment processing or financial transaction experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Further education in billing or healthcare is a plus.
  • Technical proficiency with EMR systems and standard computer applications.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or virtual setting.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Background check required as permitted by applicable laws.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and careful attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of healthcare billing and insurance concepts.
  • Ability to explain complex billing information clearly in patient-friendly language.
  • Comfort using multiple systems and tools at the same time.
  • Organized, self-directed, and collaborative approach to work.

Imtiyozlar

  • An additional $1 per hour for night and weekend shifts.
  • Paid training, usually two weeks, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST.
  • Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
  • Eligible for benefits on the first day of the month after 60 days.
