  • Facilitate intake meetings, success profiles, scorecards, and interview plans
  • Use data to challenge assumptions and manage difficult conversations independently
  • Present Apollo.io’s mission, AI strategy, and engineering culture to candidates
  • Understand candidate motivations, set expectations, and close candidates
  • Provide respectful, informative communication throughout the candidate experience
  • Maintain recruiting pipeline data in Greenhouse and Gem
  • Evaluate conversion and hiring-velocity trends and recommend improvements
  • Design and measure AI workflows for sourcing, personalized outreach, screening preparation, and pipeline reporting
  • Collaborate with People Operations and Compensation on offers, approvals, and hiring-to-onboarding transitions
  • Lead hiring sprints, recruiting process improvements, and pipeline initiatives
  • Maintain momentum, accountability, timelines, and feedback service-level agreements

  • At least five years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably with a high-growth SaaS or AI company
  • Strong technical credibility and a clear understanding of engineering roles and levels
  • Demonstrated success hiring Senior and Staff Engineers in competitive San Francisco Bay Area markets
  • Proven independent sourcing ability and ownership of top-of-funnel activity
  • Ability to influence hiring managers through data and market insight
  • Practical AI fluency, including defined workflows built and measurable results delivered
  • High ownership, adaptability, and comfort working amid ambiguity and intense pace
  • Strong working knowledge of Claude, ChatGPT, or other large language models
