Senior Product Support Engineer - .NET, Azure, SQL, ITIL | Kochi Onsite
Provide Tier 3 support for IQVIA’s global clinical research and healthcare applications, resolving complex incidents across .NET, Azure, SQL, and integrations. The role includes ITIL-based operations and 24×7 rotational coverage.

- Deliver Tier 3 application and integration support for complex, high-impact incidents
- Conduct root cause analysis by gathering evidence, recognizing patterns, recording findings, and supporting corrective and preventive actions
- Serve as the Tier 2 escalation point and take ownership of urgent issues
- Monitor, triage, prioritize, assign, manage, and close technical tickets
- Investigate critical incidents, integration failures, and problems affecting multiple users or sponsor deliverables
- Track hypercare activities and record investigations, updates, and follow-up actions
- Keep end users and stakeholders informed about ticket status, workarounds, and next steps
- Lead bridge calls and coordinate live troubleshooting with subject-matter experts, engineering, and dependent teams
- Work with engineering, DBA, cloud and infrastructure, and vendor teams to isolate root causes and implement lasting fixes
- Troubleshoot deeply through logs, application diagnostics, database checks, integration traces, and environment validation
- Provide technical direction to Tier 2 engineers
- Support problem, change, and release management through risk assessment, deployment assistance, post-release checks, and hypercare
- Carry out authorized production recovery actions, including resubmission, reprocessing, controlled restarts, and data-integrity checks
- Participate in handovers and keep each shift prepared for operational coverage
- Develop and maintain SOPs, known-error articles, and troubleshooting playbooks
- Find opportunities to improve monitoring and automation and coordinate their delivery
- Lead operations during shifts while maintaining SLA, ticket-update, email-management, and process-compliance standards
- Work rotating 24×7 shifts, including nights and weekends, to support global operations

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification, or 8–14 years of relevant experience in a comparable field
- Background in product or application support
- Experience working rotating shifts
- Availability for 24×7 rotational coverage, including nights and weekends
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at every level
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Solid technical foundation and/or programming experience
- Strong PC-based troubleshooting capability
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS, IIS, Oracle, .NET, Unix, SQL, and Windows Server
- Knowledge of scripting, automation, and AI
- Understanding of ITIL incident, problem, and change management practices
- Working knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
- Clinical trial or pharmaceutical domain knowledge is preferred
- Strong customer-facing and presentation abilities
- Ability to document processes clearly
- Experience with validation documentation and execution
- Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and documentation
