Remote Sales Representative, Medical Devices (Massachusetts)

Drive NuSil’s medical-device business growth through consultative B2B sales in an assigned Massachusetts territory. Manage strategic accounts, pipeline development, customer acquisition, and the complete sales cycle.

Description

  • Expand NuSil’s medical-device business by acquiring new customers within an assigned territory
  • Strengthen strategic relationships and manage large, high-visibility customer accounts
  • Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting through closing
  • Assess customer needs, communicate NuSil’s value proposition, and present solution-based offerings
  • Develop engagement strategies for complex, high-value accounts
  • Lead strategic initiatives that support customer success and business objectives
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders
  • Manage territory revenue performance and meet or exceed sales and growth goals
  • Generate new business through prospecting, lead generation, inbound follow-up, and pipeline management
  • Conduct discovery, prepare proposals, deliver presentations, negotiate terms, and close opportunities
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with Salesforce and tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Recommend NuSil products that meet customer research, production, and quality needs
  • Create territory and account plans focused on growth
  • Produce reliable forecasts and achieve annual revenue objectives
  • Promote NuSil’s portfolio across varied applications and market segments
  • Pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities in existing accounts
  • Develop relationships with key customer decision-makers and influencers
  • Coordinate with Sales Management, Marketing, Research and Development, Product Management, Planning, and Operations
  • Represent NuSil at customer locations, industry events, and trade shows
  • Track market developments, competitor activity, and customer feedback
  • Share application needs, market developments, and competitive intelligence with internal teams
  • Provide professional, responsive service that supports customer satisfaction
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or business is preferred
  • At least five years of B2B sales experience in a consultative, solution-oriented environment is required
  • Candidates near the Boston area are preferred
  • Willingness to travel 30–50% to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events
  • Documented success developing new business and delivering growth
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, close, and grow revenue in technical or complex sales settings
  • Experience with technical, scientific, manufacturing, medical-device, aerospace, or advanced-materials markets is strongly preferred
  • Commercial drive with the ability to prospect, open new relationships, and win business
  • Ability to influence business owners, engineers, technical leaders, and executive decision-makers
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Analytical and strategic selling skills suited to complex customer organizations
  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize high-impact territory activities
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, including Salesforce.com, and digital or social selling tools
  • Ability to convert technical information into clear business value propositions
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced, results-focused environment
