Field Technical Support Representative | HP | Alpharetta, Georgia

HP seeks a Field Technical Support Representative to provide installation, software, and break-fix support for complex customer accounts. The onsite role serves customers in Alpharetta, Georgia, and Texas and requires 75% travel.

Description

  • Enhance customer experience through installation guidance, site-specific information, and relevant contact coordination
  • Manage customer relationship issues and escalate concerns through established procedures
  • Provide software support across pre-sales, post-sales, and service delivery activities
  • Develop tailored solutions for large enterprise, complex, and corporate accounts
  • Apply proactive monitoring methods and tools to prevent issues and improve customer outcomes
  • Support customer break-fix work onsite and provide technical assistance to third-party and authorized service providers
  • Lead onsite escalations when additional support is required
  • Resolve complex technical issues and propose service improvements
  • Coordinate departmental activities, mentor team members, and act as an escalation resource
  • Find improvement opportunities and maintain effective business controls through review, analysis, and verification
  • Coordinate functional activities, support multiple departments, monitor process execution, and build productive working relationships

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, higher secondary education, equivalent work experience, or demonstrated competence
  • 6–8 years of related experience, preferably with HP products, customer accounts, account management, computer customer support, onsite customer support, mission-critical systems, or a related field
