Conduent Healthcare Customer Service Representative - Remote

Remote healthcare customer service role with Conduent supporting dental benefits, claims, eligibility, and provider inquiries. Resolve member and provider questions across Commercial and Medicare plans.

Description

  • Handle inbound questions about dental benefits, eligibility, claims, appeals, grievances, and provider searches for Commercial and Medicare plans
  • Explain dental benefits, policies, and procedures to members, providers, and employer groups
  • Research and resolve member and provider issues by contacting relevant parties and documenting interactions accurately in the billing system
  • Review verbal complaints related to billing, claims, or delivered services
  • Refer service failures to the appropriate internal departments for follow-up and resolution
  • Locate and distribute correspondence, plan brochures, provider directories, and other printed materials
  • Meet or surpass ACD call-volume and quality standards
  • Deliver assigned individual monthly performance targets
  • Stay informed about Member Services procedures, policies, and dental plan changes
  • Complete other responsibilities assigned by management

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or college degree
  • At least one year of in-person customer service experience
  • Call center experience of one year or more is preferred
  • Completion of a customer service assessment and typing test
  • Dental, medical, or managed care industry knowledge and experience are preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet Explorer
  • Clear and effective telephone communication skills
  • Strong organization, time management, written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to address issues involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Completion of mandatory paid training with 100% attendance
  • Home internet service providing 10 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload speeds
  • Ability to connect the work computer directly to the home modem using Ethernet; satellite and wireless internet are not accepted
  • A secure, distraction-free workspace at home
  • Ability to work across six systems and average 32 calls per day
