Technical Support Engineer, India (Remote)
Investigate merchant incidents and technical queries for APEXX Global’s payment orchestration platform. Troubleshoot APIs, databases, and monitoring systems while providing rotational support coverage.
विवरण
- Use the APEXX technical incident matrix to classify issues and incidents
- Conduct initial technical investigations using Grafana, Portals, Quicksight, Snowflake, and relevant technical expertise
- Route issues to L2 engineering teams or external partners when escalation is needed
- Manage merchant questions and problems through to resolution
- Investigate merchant incidents and internal monitoring alerts outside standard hours
- Initiate incident management procedures and escalate to L2 teams as appropriate
- Draft merchant updates and manage phone communications during incidents
- Share clear updates during shift handovers and morning stand-ups
- Collaborate closely with Product, Implementations, and Technology teams
आवश्यकताएँ
- Prior experience in technical support engineering, preferably in a startup or fintech setting
- Practical experience working with APIs
- Experience using ticketing and collaboration platforms such as Freshdesk, Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL
- Experience working with MySQL, Snowflake, or PostgreSQL databases
- Familiarity with Postman, Excel, Kibana, or Grafana is beneficial
- Ability to work against SLAs and resolve incidents in high-pressure situations
- Strong capability in first-line investigation and technical issue identification
- Clear and effective written and spoken communication
- Well-developed problem-solving, analytical, and organisational abilities
- Availability for rotating shifts, including nights and weekends when needed
