Bilingual Spanish Customer Service Representative (Remote, New York)
Provide remote bilingual customer service for Maximus’s New York State health insurance programs. Respond to inquiries, document interactions, process requests, and resolve routine issues.
Descriere
- Respond to customers by telephone, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), web chat, and other authorized channels
- Explain NYSOH health insurance programs accurately, including Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, and Qualified Health Plans
- Document customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, comments, actions, and transactions thoroughly
- Complete related tasks and transactions accurately and in full
- Use multiple computer systems and enter data accurately while assisting customers
- Arrange delivery of requested materials by mail, email, or electronic methods
- Route or refer customers to the appropriate internal or external organization
- Handle inquiries and resolve routine customer service issues
- Escalate unresolved, complex, sensitive, or grievance-related matters
- Arrange translation or interpretation support for customers who do not speak English
- Keep supervisors informed about service-delivery needs, concerns, and issues
- Achieve Quality Assurance, productivity, and other key performance targets
- Participate in required meetings and training while keeping knowledge of programs, systems, policies, and procedures current
- Follow confidentiality, privacy, and safety requirements
- Remain seated or otherwise stationary for extended periods and occasionally move items weighing up to 25 pounds
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management
Cerințe
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Requires 0–6 months of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fluency in English and the specified secondary language is required
- Must speak, read, and translate fluently in Spanish and English
- Must reside within 100 miles of New York, NY
- Strong data-entry and telephone skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks successfully at the same time
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience using computers, phone systems, and headsets is preferred
- Previous customer service experience is preferred
- Internet speed of at least 20 Mbps
- Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 Ethernet patch-cable connection to the home router
- Must currently and permanently reside in the continental United States
