Remote Fixed-Term Localization Project Manager in India

Keywords Studios is hiring a fixed-term Localization Project Manager in India to oversee game localization projects. The role coordinates clients, vendors, global teams, schedules, budgets, quality control, and delivery.

Apraksts

  • Oversee localization projects across varied sizes, genres, and gaming platforms
  • Estimate, schedule, and manage projects end to end, including contingency planning
  • Create and maintain project workflows and technical documentation
  • Lead project planning sessions, kick-offs, and recurring project meetings
  • Clarify project scope and requirements with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Guide clients on effective processes, timelines, and localization practices
  • Coordinate production, QA, risk mitigation, CAPA, resource planning, and postmortems
  • Work with the Global Resource Management Team to plan project staffing
  • Track schedules, work plans, resources, quality, profitability, and timely delivery
  • Keep clients informed about issues, specification updates, deadlines, and other project developments
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal project resources
  • Develop effective working relationships with project management teams worldwide
  • Make informed independent decisions within company and client standards
  • Engage clients to understand their objectives, expectations, requirements, and concerns
  • Investigate complaints and escalate project risks as appropriate
  • Support initiatives that improve processes and project tools
  • Enter sales and purchasing financial information for invoicing, cost management, and quotations
  • Track project expenses, margins, forecasts, quotations, WIP, accruals, and pre-invoice reviews
  • Manage vendor cost estimates and verify compliance with required procedures
  • Protect project sustainability while maintaining budgets, profitability, quality, and client retention
  • Keep project reporting information accurate and complete
  • Assist new team members and help develop training plans
  • Manage personal development, learning, and training requirements

Prasības

  • Experience in the video game or localization industry, either with a client or vendor
  • A degree in business, audio, translation, computer science, or game development is advantageous
  • Familiarity with production or computer-assisted translation tools is advantageous
  • Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Additional language skills are advantageous
  • Sound judgment when prioritizing competing tasks
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines in a complex, fast-paced global remote environment
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Team-oriented and motivated to collaborate
  • Willing to pursue ongoing personal learning and training
  • Able to apply business-specific technologies and methodologies effectively
  • Submit a CV or resume in English
