Travel Operations Supervisor – Poland (Remote)

Lead travel consultant teams, oversee KPIs and reservations, and resolve customer service issues. Support BCD Travel’s corporate travel programs across Europe.

Description

  • Oversee the daily operations of a travel consultant team
  • Manage KPIs, workloads, coaching, support, and team development
  • Achieve performance targets and report feedback to the operations manager
  • Apply performance data to improve team effectiveness and efficiency
  • Drive stronger satisfaction for internal and external customers
  • Process client travel reservations
  • Resolve customer complaints and general inquiries
  • Balance and monitor team workloads
  • Contribute to HR activities including workforce planning, evaluations, coaching, and appraisals
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new employees
  • Use BCD Travel systems and tools to coach and assist Travel Consultants
  • Guide customers in line with client travel policies
  • Keep current with applicable regulations
  • Contribute to BCD Travel and client-led initiatives
  • Identify and help resolve challenges affecting consultants
  • Review GDS queues each day for quality assurance

Requirements

  • Professional experience in the corporate travel management sector
  • Strong knowledge of travel-industry policies, procedures, and processes
  • Advanced proficiency with the Amadeus GDS
  • Experience managing people is an advantage
  • Strong spoken and written English, with German preferred; English and French or English only are also accepted
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities at the same time
  • Ability to work flexible hours independently using sound discretion and judgment
  • High-level professional customer service and issue-resolution skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities
