- Oversee the daily operations of a travel consultant team
- Manage KPIs, workloads, coaching, support, and team development
- Achieve performance targets and report feedback to the operations manager
- Apply performance data to improve team effectiveness and efficiency
- Drive stronger satisfaction for internal and external customers
- Process client travel reservations
- Resolve customer complaints and general inquiries
- Balance and monitor team workloads
- Contribute to HR activities including workforce planning, evaluations, coaching, and appraisals
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of new employees
- Use BCD Travel systems and tools to coach and assist Travel Consultants
- Guide customers in line with client travel policies
- Keep current with applicable regulations
- Contribute to BCD Travel and client-led initiatives
- Identify and help resolve challenges affecting consultants
- Review GDS queues each day for quality assurance
आवश्यकताएँ
- Professional experience in the corporate travel management sector
- Strong knowledge of travel-industry policies, procedures, and processes
- Advanced proficiency with the Amadeus GDS
- Experience managing people is an advantage
- Strong spoken and written English, with German preferred; English and French or English only are also accepted
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities at the same time
- Ability to work flexible hours independently using sound discretion and judgment
- High-level professional customer service and issue-resolution skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities
