Senior HR Manager - Maternity Leave, France

Description

  • Serve as the HR Business Partner for the French organization, advising managers and the local Leadership Team on people matters.
  • Oversee payroll, personnel administration, time and attendance, labor-law compliance, and adherence to internal policies.
  • Lead recruitment, learning and development, annual performance reviews, goal-setting, and compensation review processes.
  • Manage employee relations, disciplinary cases, labor-law matters, and engagement with employee representative bodies, including the CSE.
  • Track and support the organization’s internal climate and workplace relationships.
  • Analyze HR metrics and KPIs to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate temporary workforce activities and manage General Services, including company vehicles, mobile and IT equipment, travel expenses, and workplace services.
  • Support local and regional HR initiatives covering workforce planning, skills matrices, collective agreements, health and safety, and employee engagement events.
  • Report to the Chief Human Resources Officer while leading core Human Resources activities for France.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in HR roles, preferably within structured organizations.
  • Three to five years of experience in HR leadership positions.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, ideally ADP CELERGO.
  • Working knowledge of recruitment, learning and development, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong analytical ability, including experience with HR reporting and KPI tracking.
  • Fluency in French and English is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Infor M3 and Talentia is preferred.
  • Adaptable approach and the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
