Remote HR Specialist, TUPE (Ireland)

Lead UK and Ireland TUPE transfers, employee consultations, compliance, and post-transfer HR operations. Support G-P’s global employment platform through client advisory, automation, and risk management.

Description

  • Lead end-to-end TUPE processes across the UK and Ireland as the primary HR subject matter expert for incoming and outgoing business transfers
  • Coordinate mandatory employee consultations and representative elections where required
  • Maintain compliance with statutory consultation deadlines
  • Oversee the collection, auditing, and exchange of employment data while identifying contractual risks and legacy benefit implications
  • Handle sensitive transfer cases, pre- and post-transfer harmonisation questions, potential redundancy processes, meetings, and legally sound documentation
  • Develop relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, pension administrators, and employment law advisors
  • Act as the primary contact for client questions about benefits, protected terms and conditions, compliance, and post-transfer integration strategies
  • Track changes in UK and Ireland TUPE regulations and relevant cultural considerations
  • Review and advise on measures statements, post-transfer contract changes, restrictive covenants, and risk mitigation
  • Support clients with post-transfer alignment and performance management, including timely salary and benefit updates
  • Advance automation and AI use in TUPE diligence, documentation, and client-facing transfer HR processes
  • Provide broader HR operations, onboarding, and employee lifecycle administration support
  • Support wider EMEA HR initiatives, projects, and ad hoc operational needs

Requirements

  • At least three years of specialised HR experience with substantial hands-on knowledge of UK and Ireland TUPE regulations
  • Deep understanding of labour laws and regulatory frameworks across the UK and Ireland
  • Demonstrated success leading business transfers, employee consultations, and complex employee relations matters
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, consultation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Technological proficiency with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, and Slack
  • Knowledge of the employer-of-record industry is preferred
