Operations Customer Service Representative – Serbia Remote
Remote logistics operations role supporting company-owned trucks and drivers for Zelh. Responsibilities include dispatching, Track & Trace, customer service, and transportation coordination.
Description
- Dispatch company-owned trucks and coordinate drivers in an asset-based transportation operation
- Plan daily routes, schedules, pickups, and deliveries
- Assign loads to drivers and support timely, efficient transportation execution
- Monitor active shipments and provide Track & Trace coverage as needed
- Update drivers on load status, ETAs, delays, and operational issues
- Track inbound and outbound shipments and communicate updates or exceptions
- Act as a customer contact for orders, shipments, delivery status, and operational questions
- Schedule and coordinate pickup and delivery appointments
- Maintain load, shipment, and customer records in transportation and warehouse systems
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure orders are accurately received, processed, staged, and shipped
- Handle customer and internal inquiries by phone, email, and internal communication platforms
- Resolve delays, missed appointments, damaged freight, missing products, and other shipment exceptions
- Check shipping, receiving, and transportation documents for accuracy
- Keep detailed records for loads, drivers, shipments, and customer accounts
- Work with drivers, warehouse teams, transportation operations, and customer service teams to resolve issues
- Provide dispatch or Track & Trace support according to operational requirements
- Assist with daily reports and other administrative or operational duties
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in US logistics or transportation
- Practical experience working in an asset-based trucking operation
- Previous experience dispatching company-owned trucks and managing drivers
- Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, load management, and transportation workflows
- Experience monitoring shipments through Track & Trace processes
- Ability to move between dispatch and Track & Trace duties according to business requirements
- Experience communicating with drivers, customers, warehouse teams, and other transportation stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good written and spoken English communication skills
- Experience using TMS platforms, transportation systems, or other logistics software
- Ability to work independently and make operational decisions in a fast-paced setting
- Experience managing a fleet of company-owned trucks or other assets
- Experience coordinating several drivers and loads at the same time
- Familiarity with ELD and GPS tracking tools as well as transportation management systems
- Previous experience handling after-hours or time-sensitive transportation issues
- Experience in both asset-based and freight brokerage logistics environments
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 2200–0700 CST
