NOC Analyst II - Hybrid, Brazil

Venn Telecom is seeking a NOC Analyst II in Brazil to resolve connectivity and telecommunications incidents. The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, operational audits, and infrastructure improvements.

Description

  • Handle critical tickets escalated from Level I and conduct advanced diagnostics for reclassification.
  • Use second-level checklists to reclassify incidents.
  • Keep customers and internal teams informed throughout service engagements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and determine the root causes of moderately complex incidents.
  • Diagnose data connectivity and telecommunications failures.
  • Perform advanced communication tests and link validation, including packet captures, VPN testing, firewall analysis, log reviews, and topology assessments.
  • Configure routers and satellite links based on customer network topologies.
  • Review technical documentation for implemented solutions.
  • Produce technical reports covering causes, resolutions, and implemented changes.
  • Document incidents and escalate them to senior support, engineering, and infrastructure teams.
  • Audit the technical quality of remote and field support services.
  • Prepare technical reports and service evaluations for field support and warranty cases.
  • Review installation, testing, and documentation standards followed by field teams.
  • Train and qualify field teams and customers in advanced diagnostic procedures.
  • Meet service-level agreements and quality objectives.
  • Follow established processes, policies, and standards while proposing improvements.
  • Contribute to improvement projects, system implementations, and infrastructure upgrades.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, networking, systems, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least two years of technical support experience, including work with more complex incidents.
  • Intermediate English for reading technical documentation and written communication; advanced proficiency and conversational fluency are preferred.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Intermediate networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN.
  • Intermediate knowledge of networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and SD-WAN.
  • Advanced knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points.
  • Advanced experience with ITSM and ticket management tools.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently on technical matters.
  • Clear, instructional communication skills.
  • Strong operational organization and discipline.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
