Lead Recruiter, Talent Acquisition - Florida Remote

Lead full-cycle recruiting for Morgan 6’s federal contracting teams, with a focus on cleared talent pipelines and specialized government roles. Partner across hiring, proposals, contract awards, and rapid staffing initiatives.

Description

  • Manage recruiting end to end, from requisition creation through accepted offers
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define roles, labor categories, qualifications, compensation, and hiring schedules
  • Create and maintain accurate job descriptions and requisitions
  • Source, screen, interview, and assess prospective candidates
  • Coordinate interviews and work with the VP, People & Culture to support hiring decisions
  • Provide timely candidate communication and a consistent, professional applicant experience
  • Support offer preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and onboarding handoffs
  • Recruit staff for Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and other federal customers
  • Source candidates holding Secret, TS, TS/SCI, SCI eligibility, and other required clearances
  • Assess candidates against contract labor categories, education, certifications, experience, and customer-specific criteria
  • Help deliver rapid staffing following contract awards and throughout contract transitions
  • Create pipelines for hard-to-fill technical, intelligence, operations, and program management roles
  • Work with the Growth team on projected staffing needs and proposal activities
  • Identify and qualify key personnel and contingent candidates for proposals
  • Create recruiting approaches for recompetes, new pursuits, OTAs, CSOs, IDIQ task orders, and other growth initiatives
  • Assist with commitment letters, contingent offer letters, resumes, and proposal staffing materials
  • Develop durable candidate pipelines and talent communities supporting M6’s core markets
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, referrals, cleared candidate databases, and direct outreach to source talent
  • Create and administer an employee referral program
  • Monitor compensation trends and talent availability in relevant markets
  • Own M6 recruiting workflows and Applicant Tracking System operations
  • Monitor requisitions, applicants, interviews, offers, contingent hires, and pipeline activity
  • Create consistent, repeatable recruiting procedures and standards
  • Build recruiting dashboards and give leadership visibility into metrics and staffing risks
  • Maintain compliance with applicable employment, EEO, federal contracting, and company requirements
  • Act as M6’s primary recruiting advisor to company leadership
  • Set and continuously refine the organization’s recruiting strategy
  • Align recruiting priorities with contract delivery and company growth goals
  • Create workforce plans for expected contract awards and strategic pursuits
  • Advise on recruiting tools, platforms, processes, and investments
  • Build recruiting processes that can scale with Morgan 6’s growth

Requirements

  • At least five years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience in government contracting
  • Capacity to independently manage multiple recruiting needs at the same time
  • Demonstrated strength in candidate sourcing and direct recruiting
  • Experience hiring technical and professional personnel
  • Experience working directly with hiring managers and senior leaders
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting platforms
  • Strong practical knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong organization and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-focused setting
  • U.S. citizenship is required because of M6’s government contracting work
  • Preferred: recruiting experience in defense, the Intelligence Community, federal contracting, or national security
  • Preferred: experience recruiting candidates with security clearances
  • Preferred: experience with proposal recruiting and contingent hiring
  • Preferred: experience supporting contract transitions and rapid staffing after contract awards
  • Preferred: familiarity with federal contract labor categories and minimum qualification standards
  • Preferred: experience supporting proposals, capture teams, and business development groups
  • Preferred: experience recruiting intelligence professionals, data scientists and analysts, software and full-stack engineers, cloud and infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity specialists, program and project managers, and technical subject matter experts
  • Preferred: experience with Paylocity or comparable ATS or HRIS platforms
  • Preferred: an established professional network across defense, intelligence, cleared, or government technology communities
  • Preferred: experience building or scaling recruiting functions within a growing small business
