Commercial Account Manager – Fleet Fueling Solutions

Drive Gasboy fleet fueling equipment and cloud-based fleet software sales through distributor partnerships. Grow commercial fleet revenue through prospecting, product demonstrations, training, and territory management.

Description

  • Develop and execute sales strategies with distribution partners
  • Increase revenue for fleet, commercial fueling, and cloud-based enterprise software products
  • Oversee distributors that sell and distribute Gasboy product solutions
  • Identify and develop end-fleet sales opportunities alongside distributor partners
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, and external stakeholders to establish, implement, and maintain sales strategy
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets across assigned territories and accounts
  • Identify and engage channel and fleet customers through distributor partnerships
  • Support distributors with sales training and presentations for larger customers
  • Train, coach, mentor, and collaborate with Distributor Sales Representatives
  • Handle distributor and end-customer inquiries, investigate issues, and share feedback
  • Build relationships and negotiate with prospective end-fleet accounts to generate revenue
  • Educate engineering firms, clients, and government municipalities about Gasboy fleet fuel management solutions and support product specification
  • Participate in territory sales meetings, conferences, and industry events
  • Record sales data in Salesforce.com, schedule and document calls, manage accounts, and report activities and forecasts
  • Develop opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calling, and distributor referrals
  • Deliver product demonstrations both online and in person
  • Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with Marketing to create sales tools and marketing materials
  • Collect customer, competitive, and market insights and provide voice-of-customer feedback for product roadmaps, promotions, and sales content

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least five years of progressive experience managing distributors within a sales model
  • Knowledge of, or prior experience in, fleet transportation and logistics is advantageous
  • Established relationships with large private fleets, federal agencies, city and state governments, municipalities, or DOTs are advantageous
  • Comfort communicating across distributor and end-customer or prospect organizations, from C-suite leaders to operations personnel
  • Ability to respond quickly, present solutions, solve problems, and address objections professionally
  • Demonstrated success exceeding sales quotas
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Effective selling, listening, and presentation capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and use time effectively
  • Experience defining and improving complex processes while communicating advanced product knowledge
  • Understanding of digital communication channels, including web and social media, and their role in the sales cycle
