Bilingual Virtual Medical Receptionist – Personal Injury, Nicaragua Remote

Description

  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
  • Cover regular business hours, including late-day and weekend shifts
  • Respond to new-patient inquiries and referral opportunities
  • Schedule new patients and record appointment details accurately
  • Follow up on missed calls, inquiries, and prospective patients
  • Gather patient demographic and referral details
  • Prioritize and schedule new Personal Injury referrals
  • Communicate professionally with patients in English and Spanish
  • Deliver friendly, confident, and professional customer service
  • Assess patient needs and guide inquiries toward appointments
  • Follow up with prospective patients until each case has an outcome
  • Assist with insurance verification and Personal Injury coordination
  • Support Workers' Compensation cases and MedPay navigation
  • Communicate with insurers, adjusters, attorneys, and law offices
  • Collect and update attorney and insurance details
  • Process medical record requests
  • Follow up on unresolved insurance and Personal Injury matters
  • Support treatment workflows involving attorney liens
  • Protect patient confidentiality and maintain HIPAA compliance
  • Make outbound calls to prospective patients and leads
  • Follow up with interested individuals who have not booked
  • Convert inquiries into scheduled appointments
  • Assist with outreach and business-development efforts
  • Keep lead tracking and follow-up records organized
  • Re-engage prospects who have not scheduled
  • Identify referral and business-development opportunities
  • Pursue each lead until a clear outcome is reached
  • Increase appointment volume through proactive communication and lead conversion

Requirements

  • Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency is required
  • At least two years of experience supporting a U.S.-based medical practice
  • Demonstrated experience handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
  • Strong Spanish communication ability
  • Experience scheduling medical appointments
  • Excellent patient and customer service skills
  • Comfort with outbound calling and lead follow-up
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Consistent follow-through and ownership of tasks
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
  • Professional, confident telephone manner
  • Personal Injury medical experience is strongly preferred
  • Insurance verification experience is strongly preferred
  • MedPay experience is strongly preferred
  • Workers' Compensation experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience communicating with attorneys or law offices is strongly preferred
  • Chiropractic experience is strongly preferred
  • Medical records experience is strongly preferred
  • Business development or lead-conversion experience is strongly preferred
  • DOT examination experience or knowledge is strongly preferred
  • ChiroTouch Cloud experience is strongly preferred
  • RingCentral experience is strongly preferred
  • ChiroTouch Cloud experience is a strong plus but not required
  • Familiarity with ChiroTouch Cloud EMR and the RingCentral phone system

Benefits

  • Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
  • Remote work arrangement
  • Three weekdays scheduled from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST
  • Weekend coverage is required
  • Five working days per week
