Inside Sales Support Representative at The Home Depot — Remote in Washington
Support The Home Depot’s managed account growth through quoting, order processing, customer service, and issue resolution. Work with Outside Sales Representatives and customers to manage projects from initial quote through post-sale follow-up.

- Help Outside Sales Representatives grow managed account portfolios
- Provide consultative customer support and strengthen account relationships
- Prepare accurate, complete quotes and sales orders promptly
- Resolve customer issues and provide follow-up throughout the project lifecycle
- Use CRM and telephony platforms to support sales and customer service operations
- Encourage repeat business through customer service, quoting, sourcing, project ownership, and account management
- Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams on pricing, availability, quotes, and issue resolution
- Manage projects end to end with managed account customers at the center of the process
- Handle issue resolution, post-sale follow-up, invoice transmittal, and quote requests
- Report to a Supervisor
- Typically travel overnight 5% to 20% of the time

- Be at least 18 years old
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Have working knowledge of presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint
- Demonstrate effective collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Demonstrate project management skills
- Be able to negotiate, manage complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances with internal and external customers
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have prior customer service or retail sales experience, particularly in home improvement trades
- Know local building codes relevant to home improvement
- Bring a consultative, growth-oriented mindset and respond quickly to internal and external customer needs
- Have in-depth knowledge of retail systems, including Showroom Point of Sale-Orange Pay, Order Up, My Custom Designs, Volume Pricing Program, Quote Center, Pro Xtra, Credit Services Center, and the Appliance Ordering System
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Have at least one year of work experience
- No leadership experience is required
- No certifications are required
